Sinister sounds and desperate anger come from Turkey during this quarantine period.
We are talking about Eternal Decay, full EP of the Turkish band Daelkyr, originally from Antalya, which was released on March 24, 2020 and which appeared on youtube two days later. A very interesting album, technically well played and well produced, ideal for Black Metal lovers.
The first song, As the Fog Rises, introduces us to the sulphurous world of Daelkyr. Nice riffing, solid rhythmic structure, wide range of emotions.
The second song, the title track Eternal Decay, amazes us with the melodic parts and the overall balance of the song.
Then it's Gray Inferno: speed and technique are the masters and the song grows gradually, after a not very convincing start.
The Daelkyr EP ends with the song Ritual of Existence: a piece full of nuances, technically well played and able to displace the listener.
In conclusion, we can say that Eternal Decay has convinced us very much. The Daelkyr must absolutely continue to trample angrily on the path they are on now!

Parliamo di Eternal Decay, full EP della band turca Daelkyr, originaria di Antalya, che è stato pubblicato il 24 marzo 2020 e che due giorni dopo è comparso su youtube. Un album molto interessante, tecnicamente ben suonato e ben prodotto, ideale per i cultori del Black Metal.
Il primo brano, As the Fog Rises, ci introduce nel mondo sulfureo dei Daelkyr. Bel riffing, struttura ritmica solida, vasta gamma di emozioni.
La seconda canzone, la title track Eternal Decay, ci sbalordisce per le parti melodiche e per l'equilibrio complessivo del brano.
Tocca poi a Grey Inferno: velocità e tecnica la fanno da padrone e il brano cresce man mano, dopo un inizio non molto convincente.
Chiude questo percorso dei Daelkyr la canzone Ritual of Existence: pezzo ricco di sfumature, tecnicamente ben suonato e capace di spiazzare l'ascoltatore.
In definitiva, possiamo dire che Eternal Decay ci ha convinto davvero tanto. I Daelkyr devono assolutamente continuare a calpestare rabbiosamente il sentiero su cui si trovano adesso!
