GURUM - Continue... The End

Depressive black metal can be a particularly suitable genre to accompany these days of quarantine and slow times.
For this reason today we offer you Gurum, one Brazilian band dedicated to DSBM, and their song Continue ... The End, the fourth song of their album Let My Thoughts Destroy Me, dated 2014.
A song, let's face it, that fits perfectly into the canons of depressive black metal, with a slow and excruciating initial arpeggio played by a distorted and far guitar, reminiscent of a litany of pain.
The voice blends very well with the instruments and does not blame the excessive lo-fi from which DSBM production very often suffer.
Drums are not very convincing when the frequency of the bass drum increases: totally useless.
After three minutes, the pain gives us a break. A moment of rest, interrupted by another arpeggio, also well done. The song resumes its creeping gait. Unfortunately, the muffled machine gun of the drums starts again, which takes away from the piece a lot of its effectiveness.
Too bad, because Continue ... The End deserves to be in the playlist of lovers of the genre.

Below, the lyrics of the song:

When I decide to stop,
Get where I call end,
Once again I was thrown,
Forgotten in some corner,
But if you ask me if I ever get out of here
I will say no,
As if all the feelings I had in my life were nothing,
Now I do not know how to stop.
Maybe now for fear I can not stop,
When I get what I call the end,
Someone pushes me and says to continue!

When is the End?
What is the End?
And I need to stop, so tired of life,
I Arrived at the end

The End, quarto brano del loro album Let My Thoughts Destroy Me, datato 2014.

When I decide to stop,
Get where I call end,
Once again I was thrown,
Forgotten in some corner,
But if you ask me if I ever get out of here
I will say no,
As if all the feelings I had in my life were nothing,
Now I do not know how to stop.
Maybe now for fear I can not stop,
When I get what I call the end,
Someone pushes me and says to continue!

When is the End?
What is the End?
And I need to stop, so tired of life,
I Arrived at the end
