Plays on contrasts Embers, the track premiere of the Scottish band Ruadh, whose album The Rock of the Clyde will be released on May 22, 2020 and will be released by Northern Silence Productions, which once again confirms its guarantee of quality. By the way: let's hope Northern Silence solves its problems, the world of black metal needs you!

Embers is full of references to the Celtic world, especially in the woodwinds, but it does not forget to insert itself in the furrow of the Atmospheric Black Metal of the new millennium. The mixing of these two worlds is one of the objectives declared by Tom Perrett, factotum of Ruadh.

The song begins at high speed and with a solid rhythmic base, and then opens at the moment of celestial choir. The alternation between gloomy moments and glimpses of light is never repetitive, therefore it never gets boring. Halfway through the song there is a delicious part dedicated to Scottish folk sounds, a moment of epic quiet. Then the song comes back to life and goes back to the tracks of the genre, accompanying us at the end of the path with our gaze turned to the highlands, to the castles, to the cliffs, to the fog of Scotland.

Una voce dai meandri più oscuri dell'esistenza e un coro angelico disperato.

Gioca sui contrasti Embers, la track premiere degli scozzesi Ruadh, il cui album The Rock of the Clyde uscirà il 22 Maggio 2020 e sarà pubblicato dalla Northern Silence Productions, che ancora una volta si conferma garanzia di qualità. A proposito: speriamo che la Northern Silence risolva i propri problemi, il mondo del black metal ha bisogno di lei!

Embers è ricca di richiami al mondo celtico, specie nei fiati, ma non dimentica di inserirsi nel solco dell'Atmospheric Black Metal del nuovo millennio. La commistione tra questi due mondi è uno degli obiettivi dichiarati da Tom Perrett, factotum di Ruadh.

La canzone inizia ad alta velocità e con una solida base ritmica, per poi aprirsi al momento del coro celestiale. L'alternanza tra momenti cupi e squarci di luce non è mai ripetitiva, quindi non annoia mai. A metà canzone c'è una deliziosa parte dedicata alle sonorità folk scozzesi, un momento di epica quiete. Poi il brano riprende vigore e torna sui binari del genere, accompagnandoci alla fine del percorso con lo sguardo rivolto alle highlands, ai castelli, alle scogliere, alla nebbia di Scozia.
